Before that, Lesseps married Alexandre de Lesseps in 1993. She was his fourth, and as a couple welcomed two children, Noel and Victoria. After 16 years as husband-wife, they divorce in 2009 after Alexandre's alleged affair with Ethiopian Princess Kemeria Abajobir Abajifar.
In December 2017, she was arrested from Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. She was charged with disorderly intoxication, a battery of an officer, resisting arrest and making threats against a public servant.
The staff of the hotel called 911 after the star entered a room that wasn't a s signed to her and refused to leave. When the officers tried to take her out, she slammed the bathroom doors in one of the officer's forehead. Later, she was released on her own recognizance.
She released a statement after the arrest saying,
After the arrest she said in a statement: 'This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding, and being here brought up long-buried emotions. I want to offer my sincere apologies to anyone I might have offended with my behavior. I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018.'
