Lori Stokes is a news anchor currently working for the WABC-TV for the show  Eyewitness News with Ken Rosato. She has also worked for other big channels such as WBFF-TV, WJLA-TV, and MSNBC. Well, she is also known as the first African-American to broadcast on MSNCB.

Lori Stokes was born in the year 1962 on the 16th of September making her 56 years old at the moment. Stokes was born in Cleveland, Ohio in the United States of America. She is ethnically black and is an American citizen. The names of her parents are Louis Stokes and Jay Stokes and they have always supported her in her way to becoming one of the very best.

Career

Lori Stokes wanted to be a novelist but later on, started her career as a journalist as a medical reporter. Se first worked as a weekend anchor for WBTV. In the year 2000, she joined WABC-TV. 

She worked for the WABC-TV for a show called Eyewitness News and her partner for the show is Ken Rosato. In 2003, Stokes was removed from the noon newscast and Sade Baderinwa started working.  

Stokes has also worked for other big channels such as WBFF-TV, WJLA-TV, ABC, and MSNBC. Even after being so popular and so successful, she has always been a humble human being.    

Why Did Lori Stokes Leave ABC and WABC-TV?

Lori who spent more than five years on the ABC channel as the host leave the studio in August 2017. However, she didn't officiate the reason for her departure.

The news of their separation was confirmed by the Twitter post shared by Lori on December 25, 2014, where she has shared a picture of her with Brian inc which she has mentioned him as an "Ex-husband".

Stokes has two children and their names are Nicolette Thompson and Alexandra Thompson. It does not seem like she is dating anyone else or having an affair at this time. Her first daughter was very special to her and so was the second one but sadly her love for her children could not save her marriage.
