Lori Allen is one of the successful actresses who rose to stardom after she played a long-running role as Pearl Krabs on the animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants. She also voiced Diane Simmons on Family Guy and The Boss in the Metal Gear video game series. Her big-screen performance includes Minions and Despicable Me 3 as well. 

Early Life And Bio Of Lori Allen 

Lori Allen was born on 11 August 1959, in Potomac, Maryland, United States. She was raised in Atlanta and gained her primary education from a local school. She belongs to American nationality and ethnicity wise, she is from a mixed ethnical background as she had a mixed-faith family: her mother Martha Manning is a Southern Baptist and her father Elliot Denniberg is Jewish. 

Previously, her parents were performers and they supported her to pursue her career in the field of acting.  And she made her acting debut at the tender age of five playing a minor role in a Shakey's Pizza commercial. Her first stage role Annie's youngest sister came in a local community theater production of Annie Get Your Gun

Allen later moved to South Carolina, Columbia, and graduated from Columbia College with a degree in business. Later she moved to Atlanta and founded a Bridals shop in 1980.

Lori Allen’s boutique work has taken her to the next level of success. It was the year 1980 when she decided to found Bridals by Lori. This was the best decision of her life. It has been expanded to a large area of 25,000 square feet. She has also made her appearances as a judge in fashion design competitions.         

On the 30th anniversary of her shop, Bridals by Lori Allen was declared to be the set of the show Say Yes To Dress: Atlanta. It was very popular and received several awards and nominations. Lori was later featured in the show  Say Yes To The Cure: Lori's Fight which covered her battle with cancer.

The actress made her big-screen debut portraying Cleopatra in a 1994 movie Holy Matrimony. Her other on-screen projects are Ray Donovan, Comedy Central's WorkaholicsBones, CSI, Southland, Law & Order: LA, and 90210, and many others. 

In 2014, Allen received a  Voice Arts Award (VAA) for the outstanding body of work and outstanding national television commercial. She has also played a number of prime roles in several successful movies like The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water and Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Her upcoming project is Toy Story 4.  

Lori Allen's Charity Work 

Lori Allen has been actively participating in philanthropic works. She is also a regular participant in the fight against breast cancer. Prior to this, she is a member of the non-profit, Sunshine on a Ranney Day which serves homeless children. She is also an active member of the animal rescue organization  Pickle Pants Rescue which is located in LA.

Lori Allen’s personal life is as perfect as her career. She had an affair with her boyfriend Eddie Allen to whom she met during her college days. They dated for some years and finally decided to get married. The couple wedded in 1979 and are still together even after 37 years of married life.

Lori Allen often describes her wedding day as the best day of her life. She and her husband Eddie are blessed with two children, Mollie Allen Surratt and Cory Allen. On April 13, 2012, her doctor confirmed that she had breast cancer but was later cured. Her husband is also a patient of cancer.
