Linsey Godfrey is an American actress best known for her roles on the television series Surface, as well as in the movie, Jack’s Family Adventure. Currently, she played the role of Caroline Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Early life and Education
Linsey Godfrey was born on July 25, 1988, in Florida, United States of America. She spent her childhood in Stuart, Florida with her mother Char Griggs, and her stepfather, Ronnie Griggs. She belongs to American nationality and her ethnicity is white.
Before Linsey Godfrey went to Los Angeles to further her acting career, she attended South Fork High School.
Professional career
Linsey Godfrey started her career in acting as a freshman at South Fork High School when she suddenly replaced an ill student because of her talent. She followed her acting career interest to Hollywood.
Linsey Godfrey quickly started booking guest featuring roles on the television series NCIS, Cold Case, and CSI: Miami, on the network. She then went to Los Angeles to try her luck auditioning in 2005. She played a recurring role on the TV show Surface in the same year.
Unfortunately, Linsey Godfrey’s career suddenly stopped when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2006. At last, cancer treatment was successful and the therapy lasted seven months. After that, she came back to Los Angeles and got guest roles on such shows as CSI: Miami (2002) and Cold Case (2003).
Linsey Godfrey received the prestigious role of Caroline Spencer on the daytime drama called The Bold and the Beautiful in 1987 where she appeared along with the co-stars including Scott Clifton, Kim Matula, Heather Tom etc.

Multi-talented actress Linsey Godfrey has been nominated three times for a Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. First, she nominated for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2014, then in 2015 and 2016 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
Personal life and Affair
Linsey Godfrey began speculating her affair with The Young and the Restless actor Robert Adamson in 2012. After that, it was made public that she was expecting her first child with longtime boyfriend Robert at the end of 2013.
Linsey Godfrey welcomed to a daughter named Aleda Seren Adamson, who was born on June 12, 2014. Daytime fans were shocked last year to know that Linsey Godfrey and Robert Adamson confirmed that they ended their engagement.
However, they are continuing to raise their baby together. They will always remain attached as they are carried out to co-parenting their daughter in a loving and her needs will always be their common priority.
In February 2015, Linsey Godfrey was injured in an automobile accident while she was walking in Los Angeles when the car ascended the footpath and hit her.
