Synopsis

Leigh Zimmerman is an American actress, singer as well as a dancer. She is well known for portraying the role as Fashion Model in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York in 1992. She appeared in the television series Doctors from 2005 to 2014. 

Early life and Education

Leigh Zimmerman was born in the year 1969, March 28, in Madison, Wisconsin to American parents. She belongs to white ethnicity and holds an American nationality.

In 1998, Leigh attended the Fordham University where she graduated with History and Literature, English in 1990. The next year, Leigh enrolled at the Karen Kayser Commercial Training where she learned the camera Commercial Training for one year.

Leigh also joined SLS voice Training where she studied voice and speech from 1993 to 2016.

Career

Leigh began her acting career as a woman who has a run-in with burglars Harry and Marv in the movie Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

In the year 2001, Leigh made a huge splash in the movie West End starring as Velma Kelly alongside with Denise Van Outen in Chicago for an unprecedented one-year contract.

In 2002, Leigh was approached to work for the second time in the West End the role of The Girl in the Yellow Dress in Contact with chef Susan Stromanonce at the Queens Theater.

During that time, Leight completed feature film worked on American drama film Proof(2005) alongside Anthony Hopkins and Gwyneth Paltrow. She also appeared in Red Light Runners with Harvey Keitel, Submerged with Steven Seagal and The Defender with Dolph Lundgren.

In the year 2004, Leigh was solicited to play the part from Miriam in the controversial play Three on A Couch by the Nobel Prize-winning scientist Carl Djerassi and worked intimately with him to shape the play for the legendary London fringe theater, The Kings Head.

Leigh also appeared in the television docudrama Small Pox: Silent Weapon as Leslie Peters which was aired on FX channel and as Tamsin Reed on BBC’s Doctors.

From 2008 to 2009, Leigh guest starred on various episodic on American television shows including in season 4 of NUMB3RS as Leslie Dennis which was aired on CBS channel.

Personal life

Leigh married Domenick Allen in 1993. She gave birth to her first child, a daughter Cayleigh Allen on 2000. Her husband was previously married to Charlene Tilton.

In an interview, Leigh said that her favorite cosmetic product is Vaseline and she loves Popcorns. She also loves having Starbucks Frappuccinos.
