He competed on the show to win Jasmine's heart along with Mikhel Sickand, Mike Ogilvie, Benoit Beauséjour-Savard, Kevin Pattee and many others.
Wendt became the winner while Sickand and Ogilvie were the first and second runner ups of the show respectively.
Wendt and Jasmine became engaged on the finale of The Bachelorette Canada season 1 but they called it quits just after five months of dating. Their split was amicable.

Kevin previously also dated his Ashley Iaconetti while appearing on The Bachelor Winter Games together in February 2018.
