Kellie Pickler is an American country music artist as well as a television personality. She rose to fame after she participated in Americal Idol at the end of 2005. Pickler is also a winner of 2004 Miss Stanly County Pageant and a competitor for Miss North Carolina Pageant, becoming its youngest competitor at age 17.
Pickler is also the winner of 2008, CMT Music Awards for Performance Video of the Year and Tearjerker Video of the Year.
Early life and education
Kellie Pickler was born as Kellie Dawn Pickler on June 28, 1986, at Stanly Memorial Hospital in Albemarle, North Carolina, United States. She belongs to white ethnicity and holds an American nationality.
Pickler is the daughter of Cynthia Morton and Clyde "Bo" Raymond Pickler, Jr. Pickler experienced a bad childhood filled with heartbreak and challenges; she was raised by her grandparents after her mother abandoned her when she was a toddler. Her mother reportedly split with her father due to his abusive character.
Pickler was then left in the care of her paternal grandparents, Clyde Sr. and Faye Pickler, as her father went through a series of scrapes with the law.
In 1995, Pickler's mother came back into her life after she was given custody of Kellie by the court, but the situation did not go well once again.
Pickler attended North Stanly High school in New London, North Carolina where she was a cheerleader and beauty queen. During her school days, Pickler once had sung, "On the Side of Angels" by LeAnn Rimes.
Career
After her graduation, Pickler worked as a waitress at a fast-food restaurant called Sonic Drive. Later, she appeared in the television station, WSOC-TV. Afterward, she participated in the Miss America circuit and won the “Miss Stanly County.”
During that time, Kellie Pickler participated in American Idol where she was also one of the favorites of American Idol Judge, Simon. Unfortunately, she got eliminated on the top six, but instead of giving up, she continued her singing career.

Kellie Pickler married to her longtime boyfriend, Kyle Jacobs on January 1, 2011, at a small, intimate ceremony on a private island in the Caribbean.
Kyle and Kellie met in 2007 at a bar through mutual friends, and after being together for some years, Jacobs proposed Pickler on June 15, 2010, and 15th June was her late grandmother’s birthday.
On June 23, 2010, they were engaged. The couple has been working together since marriage. They first worked in Kellie’s song Feeling Tonight in 2015.
Previously, Pickler dated Canadian hockey player Jordin Tootoo in 2007. They were a friend at first, but the friendship later turned into a romantic relationship by spring. However, their relation ended up in very short period.
Pickler was also romantically linked with Kid Rock for 2007 to 2008. The romance between Kellie and Kid has been the worst-kept secret in Nashville.
