Keira Knightley Doesn't Want to Do Nude Scenes After Becoming Mom of Two
Time has changed for Keira Knightley! The Pride & Prejudice star, 34, who is now a mother of two children, has decided not to do nude scenes anymore.
In an interview with the Financial Times, the actress shared that she was "completely comfortable" to bare it all for a movie shoot when she was younger but now doesn't want to perform in nude scenes after welcoming two daughters, Edie, 4, and Delilah, 6-month, with musician James Righton.
She explained in the interview,
I never did anything that I didn’t feel comfortable doing. I’m really happy with my body. It’s done an amazing thing. But I also don’t want to stand there in front of a whole film crew.
She then jokingly added,
The nipples droop! … I have had a kid, I am in my thirties, I am very happy with my body.
Her decision not to bare it all was partly influenced by the way nude scenes were shared on social media sites.
She explained,
It used to be that you’d do a sex scene in isolation with the film, and it would make sense. And maybe a paper would put it somewhere but, ultimately, that would be it. But now, you can take the whole thing and put it in a completely different thing, and it’s on some porn site.
Knightley and Righton, 36, started dating in 2011 and after staying in a relationship for two years, the two walked down the aisle in 2013.
The couple is parents of two adorable children, daughters Edie, who was born in May 2015, and Delilah, who was born in September 2019.
