Canadian television personality Kaitlyn Bristowe and American personal trainer Shawn Booth have called off their engagement revealing in a statement that they had decided parting ways together.

However, Kaitlyn now claims that it was actually her former boyfriend who called it quits.

While appearing on Sunday’s episode of LadyGaga, Kaitlyn recalled advice host Keltie Knight had given her to stick out of the difficult times in her relationship.

Kaitlyn told Keltie laughing:

I was like, 'Look, I remember your advice from before — I'm gonna leave him,

She then added:

Just kidding, he left me,

When the host pressed her on a particular subject, she gave more detail information regarding her fateful breakup.

Kaitlyn revealed that his former fiancé did not know why he could not love her. She added:

I just think the show was too hard for someone to get over. I don't know that's what I'm going off of.

Kaitlyn and Shawn, who got engaged in 2015 on the season 19 of The Bachelorette, broke off their engagement after being together for around three years.

During the time the pair broke up, many sources claim that their break up was the last thing Kaitlyn wanted and the split had left her devastated.
