Early life and education
Joshua Close was born on August 31, 1981, in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. He belongs to White-Canadian ethnicity and holds a Canadian nationality.
Close was interested in acting from his early age and joined a local theater group during his high school (Ridge High School) & started performing in different plays. Moreover, he studied sociology at the Ryerson University before pursuing a career in acting.
Career
To sharpen his acting skills, Joshua Close joined the Circle in the Square Theater School in New York & eventually got his first job as a dancer for the Boom tang Boys. Continuing dancing, he also involved in acting as well.
In the year 2002, Close made appearances in two movies, K-19: The Widowmaker and Evelyn: The Cutest Evil Dead Girl. Later, he started working in a number of the film as well as TV series and started flourishing his acting skills.
Close acted in Diary of the Dead, directed by George A. Romero which was made with the budget of $2 million and collected $5.3 million in the box office.

Joshua Close married his longtime girlfriend, Alex McKenna, an American television & film actress. They tied the knot after almost 5-6 years of relationships in August 2016 at Calistoga Ranch, an Auberge Resort.
The ceremony was managed grandly by the orange blossom special event. Both the bride & the groom were looking stunning during their wedding as the bride was dressed in a lace gown and groom in a black suit.
