Jonathan Morris
Jonathan Morris is an American actor, commentator and author on religious matters. The Roman Catholic priest has been a contributor and analyst for Fox News since 2005. He previously also served as a priest in New York's Roman Catholic Archdiocese.

Jonathan Morris was born on August 22, 1972, in Cleveland, Ohio, the United States of America, to a large family. He was raised with six siblings. Morris’ family was always religious, which later motivated Morris to become a reverend.
Morris went on to attend Franciscan University in Ohio, where he studied business administration. He was an obedient student. While at the university, he served as Vice President of the University Student Government. After graduating from Franciscan University, Morris decided to commit to the Legion of Christ, a Roman Catholic religious institute founded by the now-shamed Mexican priest, Marcial Maciel.
He continued his studies at their Center for Higher Studies in Rome, Italy. He then earned degrees in the cla s sical humanities and philosophy. He went on to provide active service and then again went on to study theology at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, the seminary of the Legion of Christ.

He was ordained a priest on 24 December 2002. Morris started living and working in Rome. Morris sustained his graduate studies in moral theology. After his continuous service, Morris was appointed as the Vice-Rector of the seminary he had attended.
Morris decided to move back to the United States and became a parochial vicar of the Basilica on 1 July 2009. After the truth about Legion was revealed, Morris cut his public affiliation with the Legion, thus seeking incardination into the Archdiocese of New York.
Morris a s sisted there until 2013 after which he was transferred to Corpus Christi Church in Manhattan. He began serving the parish while continuing his radio work and campus ministry.
Morris worked as a theological adviser from 2002 to 2004, in the making of Mel Gibson's motion picture The Pa s sion of the Christ. Morris also began effectively providing reports and analysis for CNN, the Fox News Channel, the BBC, and Sky News related to religion.
He received proposals from numerous networks but chose to work for the Fox News Channel. Morris covered Vatican news events and also investigated broader news stories from a moral point of view. Morris is noted for having a recurring segment for Fox News Channel's late night news/comedy show Red Eye in May 2009.
That same year, Morrison served as a contributor for the Wall Street Journal. Morris became the program director of The Catholic Channel on Sirius XM Satellite Radio in 2012 and continues his work till date.
