Joanna Pacula is a Polish-American actress who is mostly known for her work in the 1983 film adaptation of Martin Cruz Smith's Gorky Park. Her work in Park also earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Pacula also has built a career as a model.

Joanna Pacula, stage and cinema actress, was born in Tomaszow Lubelski, a town in south-eastern Poland on 30 December 1957. Her mother was a pharmacist while his father was an engineer. She has one model sister named Ewa Pacula. She is a Polish as per her nationality and as far as her ethnicity is concerned, the actress has a mixed ethnical background.
Joanna Pacula attended and graduated from Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre Academy in 1979. She then joined the Warsaw Dramatic Theater and performed in 1981.
