Early life and education
Jessica Henwick was born as Jessica Yu Li Henwick on 30 August 1992 in Surrey, England. Reviewing her nationality, she is British and is of East Asian descent.
Henwick is born to Singaporean Chinese & Zambian-English, mother, and English father, Mark Henwick.
Henwick went to Redroofs Theatre School. She was also a member of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.
Career
Jessica Henwick began her acting career since 2009 with the TV series, Spirit Warriors as a role of Bo. At that time, she got trained in Wushu with martial arts choreographer, Jode Payer, for the role.
In 2011, Henwick was nominated for some awards including the Broadcast Awards. Later, Henwick appeared in the various movies and TV series such as Dragonfly, The Heart of the Forest, The Headhunter, Silk, Game of Thrones and many others.
Henwick came into the limelight; after portraying as Nymeria Sand in the HBO TV series, Game of Thrones and the movie Star Wars.
Besides her acting career, Henwick has also made her appearance on the North by Northamptonshire, Radio, Monday to Friday, and Silk: The Clerks Room.
Currently, Henwick appeared in the movies, Rice on White and Newness. In the same way, she also made an appearance in the Iron Fist, Fortitude, and the Defenders.

Jessica Henwick is currently dating a stuntman as well as a martial artist, Jhonny Yang. They seem to be living a happy life as they often post their photos on their social accounts.
