Early Life

Jessi Smiles was born Jessica Vazquez on August 17, 1993, in Miami, Florida, the United States to Rubin and Christina. She is Cuban-American.

After her parents' divorce, her mother married Joe Ferrero, a radio and TV personality. 

Her brother, Joey is an autistic patient. She also suffered from anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder. She was homeschool for her senior years.

Career

Jessi Smiles first uploaded a video on Vine on June 21, 2013, titled, "RIGHT NOW!!!'' which was liked by many people. A month later she crossed 100,000 followers.

Smiles collaborates with popular Viner and eventually, she reached 3.6 million followers on Vine before the app was shut down. 

Later, she switched to YouTube and created her own self-titled channel, JessiSmiles. She posted makeup tutorials, challenge videos, vlogs, story-time videos, and more. Recently, she has more than 80k subscribers on her channel and more than 75 million views.

In one of the episodes of the web series, Epic Rap Battles of History titled "Miley Cyrus vs Joan of Arc", she portrayed the character of Joan of Arc.

Vazquez also successfully established herself as a singer-songwriter. She first released her single, What If I in June 2014 on her YouTube channel and iTunes which received positive reviews from critics and audiences. Later, she released her second single, Bitch, Please!.

Jessi Smiles is married to Nassim Ssimou in 2017. The duo exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in the presence of their closed ones and family members.

The pair is proud parents of a son, Noah, born in August 2017. Currently, she is living a blissful married life with her husband and son in North Carolina.

Previously she was romantically linked to Viner Curtis Lepore.They also collaborated on several videos. Later, Smiles allegedly accused that she was raped by Leopre when she was asleep.

Lepore was arrested and he pleaded guilty to felony assault because of which his, charges were reduced to a misdemeanor.
