Jemele Juanita Hill was born in 21st December in the year of 1975 in Michigan, U.S.A. She is recognized as her position as columnist in Page 2 of ESPN.com. She was the daughter to her family. Although she was a girl she grew up as a huge tomboy. She loved playing and watching baseball. Her favorites were THE Tigers. While she was a child she loved writing stories –especially short stories about rich lawyers. Later she realized that she wanted to be a sportswriter than a story writer. She subscribed Detroit News and Detroit Free Press Sports magazine and read ever sections. During her high school she choose journalism as her subject but turning point in her life was when she was accepted into high school journalism program .She later got involved in jobs which weren't journalism background one. She worked in snack counter and also worked as one who delivers phone books in college. She studied in Mumford High school from the year 1990 to 1993 and later completed her graduation in 1997 from Michigan State University with major in Journalism
Career, Personal Life
Although Jemele ?had a struggling beginning in her career she finally got to work in the field of journalism. In the year of 1997 she started working as News and Observer in Raleigh .After she left the job in 1998 she joined Detroit Free Press as writer in the year of 1999 and worked there for 6 years until she left the job in 2005.After there she worked as general sports columnist in The Orlando Sentinel in the year 2005 for 1 year. The biggest turning over in her career was when she got a job in ESPN as columnist and television contributor in Page 2 in the year of 2006.She has been working there till date. She has been seen in ESPN First Take’s First, Jim Rome is Burning, ESPN News and in Sports Center as well. She has been in controversies for few times because of her quick reacting behavior and she was dragged into controversies due to her article which provoked racism. She is seen in her formal dresses and has not yet been seen in any sensual dress. She has not given any nude or seminude photography.
There has not been much information about her dating life but Jemele is unmarried yet and there is a rumor that she has been dating Ray Lewis, her co-worker.She also said once in a interview that the rumour is false and rather she has been dating Idris Elba for two years.
