An American broadcast journalist, meteorologist, Jennifer Catherine "J.C." Monahan is known for working at WCBV TV. She has served as a co-anchor of the program named Chronicle. She currently serves as a newscaster for Boston affiliate WBTS. She joined the network in June 2017.

Early Life And Education Of J.C. Monahan

Monahan was born as Jennifer Catherine Monahan, in Newton, Ma s sachusetts, United States. She is an American by nationality belonging to the White-American ethnicity.

JC went to the University of Maine, where she had graduated with a B.A in Broadcast Journalism in 1994 and had also been graduated from Mississippi State University’s Broadcast Meteorology program.

After being graduated from the University, she began to search for a place where she can learn and experience in order to pursue her career in the journalism field. She got her first break in the radio station WZON-AM located in Bangor, Maine as a News Director.

In her initial years, her performance awarded her with awards from Associated Press and Maine Association of Broadcasters for Best Radio Newscast and Best Series Reporting.

With such success in the initial years of her career, she became one of the promising and in-demand journalists in the field. After a while, she joined the NECN network serving as a weekend meteorologist. Afterward, she moved to the south as joined the WPXT-TV as the weekend forecaster and entertainment reporter.

JC is the receiver of the AMS Seal of Approval which she earned in recognition for her professionalism in weather forecasting and reporting. She is affiliated with the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association.

JC is a highly ambitious person and never lets the chance slip by in order to boost her career. As such, she joined the ABC affiliate WCBV-TV in 2001 as a staff meteorologist.
