Instagram Star Kyrzayda Rodriguez Dies On Sunday A Year After Being Diagnosed With Stomach Cancer

• Fashion blogger Kyrzayda Rodriguez died.
• The Instagram blogger, who was diagnosed with 4th stage stomach cancer last year, died on Sunday, 10th September.
• Rodriguez said she had stopped chemo in August after finding it was not so helpful.
• She is survived by her teenage daughter.

Fashion blogger Kyrzayda Rodriguez has died at a young age of 40. The Instagram star, who was diagnosed with a stomach cancer last year pa s sed away on Monday, 10th September.

One of Rodriguez's beloved announced her death on her Instagram on Sunday writing: "You were someone who inspired so many people across the world. Not only were you an icon, you were an amazing daughter, mother, and friend" alongside a photo of the late blogger."

Rodriguez announced she was diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer in November 2017. After that, she kept her fans in touch with her while she underwent cancer treatments. She had also posted about her first chemo session and losing her hair.

Keeping her battle aside, the fashion star shared several Instagram posts filled with fashion, style, and wellness inspiration. She lost her hair due to chemotherapy, however, still she chose to go bald head in several inspirational posts. In one of her posts, she wrote:

Learn to embrace the little things in life like your sense to feel, see, and touch. We get so distracted by what we wear, we forget to love the skin.

The Dominican Republic-native announced that she had ended her chemo treatment. Then she wrote in a post,

The chemo and radiation will be discontinued because it is not working the way I hoped it would.

She wrote further,

I have decided to stop these treatments so that I can enjoy the rest of my time with my friends and family and to be as pain-free as possible.

Since her pa s sing news was announced, many of her fans paid tribute to Rodriguez on social media where many of them thanked the late star for sharing her journey candidly.

Kyrzayda Rodriguez is survived by her teenage daughter and a host of family members and friends.
