He started his career from the local club Celta de Vigo in 2006. He made his first-team debut in the 2007-2008 season with the side in Segunda Division.
He played his second game for the club on June 6, 2009; he was brought on as a 59th-minute substitute against Deportivo Alavés. He scored both of his team’s goal in a 2-1 home victory being essential as it eventually escaped relegation.
He was loaned to neighboring Rápido de Bouzas at the age of 17, where he spent his penultimate year as a junior.
