In April 2017, Charlie Stayt talked Boris Johnson on BBC Breakfast asking him some serious questions not many people would dare to!

"Can I just bring you back to the issue of your very personal attack on Jeremy Corbyn? It was very unseemly.

"Why do you feel the need to be so personal? Why did you have to call him mutton-headed? Why can't you just deal with the issues instead of personalities and insults?"

To which Johnson simply replied, ''There's a risk people will look at Jeremy Corbyn and not understand the threat he presents."

Charlie was left unimpressed by his explanation and it wasn’t the first time he seemed disturbed with Boris during the interview. Before this, Charlie had blamed Boris for avoiding his question as he had called Corbyn out for doing the same thing in his personal attack.
