Greg Sestero

California born American actor Greg Sestero rose to fame from his controversial independent movie The Room. The film was regarded to be a flop with low ratings but surprisingly, the movie attracted the attention of the audience and eventually turned it's drawbacks to its success. Following the interesting journey of the movie The Room, Sestero ended up writing a book titled The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room, the Greatest Bad Movies Ever Made. Which became a great success and was adopted to a film The Disaster Artist. Apart from his The Room career, he starred on several other movies.                      

Early Life And Education Of Greg Sestero

Greg Sestero was born on 15 July 1978 in Walnut Creek, California. His birth name is Gregory Allen Sestero and his zodiac sign is Cancer.   

Sestero attended Monte Vista High School, Danville, California. During his high school days, he grew interested in modeling and acting. He then attended the American Conservatory Theatre, San Francisco to develop his acting skills.

Sestero began his professional career by working as a model for the popular designers Giorgio Armani and Gianfranco Ferre. Then after starred in minor roles in the television drama Nash Bridges and in the movies Gattaca (1997) and Patch Adams (1998). Also, he appeared on the popular daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives. 

In 2003, the actor starred on the independent American romantic drama film The Room directed, written and produced by Tommy Wiseau. In The Room, he played a lead role of Mark. He was noted by the audience for his spectacular performance in the movie despite the movie's horrible performance in the theatre and low rating. Sestero said that he thought no one will ever notice the film.

Following its success, Sestero went on several tours of The Room film's Love is Blind International Tour (2010-2011) including Denmark, Germany, UK, Australia, France, and others. 

In 2013, Sestero published a science-fiction book The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room, the Greatest Bad Movies Ever Made. In the book, he expressed his experience while filming the romantic drama film The Room. The book won the Best Non-Fiction at the National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. 

Later in 2017, the book was adopted in the film under the same name The Disaster Artist. In the biographical comedy-drama film, the actor Dave Franco played the role of Greg. 

Besides his successful movie roles, the actor was also featured on the music video of Miranda Lambert, White Liar. The music video ended up winning The Academy of Country Music Awards for Music Video of the Year.  

In between his prosperous acting career, he is seen modeling for the world famous designers like; Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Armani, and many others. Lately, he worked as a writer and producer for the 2017 film BestF(r)iends.
