Lionel Messi revealed that he has become a father for the third time as his wife Antonella Roccuzzo gave birth to a boy.

A third member of the Messi house. FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi has become a father for the third time. The Spanish giants announced Messi will be missing the match against Malaga FC and fans were speculating it's because he was injured.

But he surprised his fans when he posted that his wife, Antonella Roccuzzo gave birth to their third son. Well, it's certainly a good way to keep your fans guessing about and then surprising them out of nowhere. 

Yesterday, Barcelona was scheduled to play La Liga club Malaga FC in a league match-up. But sadly for many fans, Leo didn't travel to La Rosaleda alongside his team-mates.

The club stated Messi will be missing the match due to 'personal reason.' Many of us already had a clue that he will be by his wife's side in the operation theatre. 

And later on the same day, Messi and Barcelona fans received two good news. First news, Messi posted on his Instagram account that he and his wife became parents.

He captioned the post, 

"Bienvenido Ciro !!! Gracias a Dios salió todo perfecto . La mamá y el están muy bien . Estamos súper felices !!!!"

The caption also means, 

"Welcome Ciro! Thank God everything went perfect. Mom and he are very well. We are super happy."

This the third child of Messi and his wife as they are already parents to two boys. Thiago Messi, born November 2, 2012 (age 5), and Mateo Messi, born September 11, 2015 (age 2). 

Messi and Antonella both announced they are expecting in October 2017 via Instagram. Both of them are childhood sweetheart, and they recently exchanged vows last year on June 30, 2017.
