Ex-Fiance Of Angela Simmons, Sutton Tennyson Shot To Death In Atlanta

Angela Simmons has been mourning her ex-fiance Sutton Tennyson's death, who was killed in Atlanta on Saturday, on 3d October. She shared a son, Sutton Joseph with him.

The Atlanta Police Department confirmed People that officers responded to a call of shots fired shortly before 5 on Saturday evening.

The department said in a statement that they didn't recognize the victim upon their arrival whom they described as

a 37-year-old black male lying deceased with multiple gunshot wounds, inside an open garage.

After a preliminary investigation, police found that Sutton was shot after a brief conversation with another male who shot him and fled the scene in a car. The APD has been investigating the case as a homicide.

Following the death of Sutton was confirmed by the authorities, the Growing Up Hip Hop star Simmons flooded her social media with a series of touching tributes to her ex-fiance, writing she was "hurting" and "dumb."

She also shared several photos of Tennyson and their son together on her Instagram story. She even shared a throwback photo where Simmons can be seen holding their newborn son while Tennyson stood behind her with his arms around his then-fiancee.

Simmons and Tennyson dated for a brief time before getting engaged in late 2015, which they announced five months later in April 2016. After spending around two years from their engagement, they called off their engagement in December 2017, which Simmons announced on her Instagram.
