Early Life and Education

Emma Bunton was born on 21st January 1976 in Finchley, London, England. She was born to father Pauline, a karate instructor, and mother Trevor Bunton, a milkman. She has a younger brother, Paul James.

Emma attended St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Primary School in Finchley. She started studying at Sylvia Young Drama School in London to improve her quality in Drama and singing since her early days.

Emma was raised by her mother in London. She has even modeled for products like Mothercare, Mentadent P  toothpaste, Polly Pocket in her early childhood. She holds an English nationality and her ethnicity is white. 

Professional Career

 Emma attended Sylvia Young Drama School in London. During this, she appeared on several TV shows including “Bianca” in EastEnders (1985), The Bill (1984) etc but only in minor parts.

 Emma joined Spice Girls long after she left Sylvia Youngs and was a part along with Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham, and Melanie Brown. She is due to appear in the BBC music drama Sleeping Beauty, which is to be filmed at the moment and will be out by the end of the year.

The third album of Spice Girls “Forever” was released in November 2000 and ranked spot 2 on the UK charts. It also features the Spice girls’ 9th #1 single, “Holler/Let Love Lead The Way”. Since then, the Spice Girls were separated.

In April 2001 Emma debuts solo album, A Girl Like Me which was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry for sale in the excess of 100,000 copies. Emma is the winner of 1997 MTV Video Music Award for best dance Video, “Wannabe”.

Emma released her second album, Free me, which includes her four hits “Free Me”, “Maybe”, “I’ll Be There” and “Crickets Sing For Anamaria” in 2003.

 After all, Emma Bunton along with Geri Halliwell reunited for the 20th anniversary of The Spice Girls debut album and are working on a new music in 2016. Adele had also covered the songs of Emma's former group Spice Girls in her concert in Netherlands.

Personal Life

Regarding Emma's personal life, she has not been married yet. Jade Jones (an English R&B singer and a chief) proposed Emma on January 21, 2011, for engagement on her 35th birthday.

The proposal was announced on an episode of “Dancing on Ice”. Emma was engaged to Jade Jones after dating for several months and gave birth to two children. 

Beau Lee Jones is the first child of the couple born on “10 August 2001”, and Tate Lee Jones is the second child of the couple born on “6 May 2011”. 

Emma and Jade have spent many years together. The couple is very supportive in their professional as well as personal life.

Net worth

Emma has the current net worth of $40 million. Her singing career has been the main source of her income and has boosted her economy pretty well.
