British singer Ellie Goulding is more familiar with Radio 1, but she has now confirmed that she will be joining Cla s sic FM to help children through their imminent GCSE, Scottish Higher, A-Level, and university exams.
The singer confirmed that she would be presenting two programs on the station as of its first series for students.
Goulding’s guest appearance on Cla s sic FM’s Revision Hour will air on Saturday, June 1st and June 15th at 9:00 pm with each show featuring a mixture of general advice and cla s sical music for those students who have been currently working towards their exams.
The eight-part show was initially launched by Cla s sic FM back on April 27th in collaboration with The Student Room which is Britain’s largest online community for students.
Speaking of her new role, Goulding admitted it was a thrill for her to present on the station that she loved and admired for a long time.
She has been a big fan of cla s sical music ever since her grandfather gave her a cla s sic album when she was eleven years old.
Goulding revealed that she found exams quite stressful and kept herself under a lot of pressure, but music had helped her to relax and unwind. She said:
I'm looking forward to being behind the mic for Cla s sic FM's Revision Hour, and I hope everyone enjoys the music as much as I enjoy presenting it.
Love Me Like You Do’ singer’ first show will be focusing on managing exam panic along with music specifically chosen to help relaxation. Her second show will be highlighting the relevance of cla s sical music to real life once students leave full-time education.
