Actress Goodrem was born on 9 November 1984 in Sydney, New South Wales. She was engaged in dancing acting, singing and piano cla s ses since her young age. She joined The Hills Grammar School and graduated from there. She started her career and came to fame from her young age through various tv shows, movies and raised to prominence in 2002 in the Australian soap opera Neighbors as Nina Tucker.
She signed a deal with Sony and started to work on an album of pop–dance songs. Her debut single, "I Don't Care", became unsuccessful which peaked at number sixty-four on the ARIA Singles Chart in November 2001. In 2003 she released her first album 'Innocent Eyes' which had a great success and topped the Australian albums chart and UK albums chart.
Her first single 'Out of the Blue', was released in October 2004 and it went to number one in Australia and number nine in the UK.
In April 2005 Delta Goodrem moved to New York and released a re-worked version of 'Lost without You'. She also appeared in the last two episodes of the American TV series North Shore.
Her album 'Delta' was released in Australia on 20th October 2007, which immediately went to number one on the ARIA albums chart in Australia, and was awarded platinum for record sales achieved.
In 2008 Delta started to work on her next album child of the universe and, it was confirmed to get released in late 2011. She released her next album Child of the Universe on 26th October 2012. The album debuted at No. 2 on the ARIA Charts in November 2012.
In 2004, Goodrem had a nine-month relationship with Australian tennis player, Mark Philippoussis. Her comeback single, "Out of the Blue", was written about his support during her cancer battle. But her relationship with Mark Philippoussis did not last long and they separated because of their controversies.
According to the sources, the main reason behind their separation was Philippoussis’s unfaithful nature.
In 2004 she dated former Westlife singer Brian McFadden with whom she collaborated on the duet "Almost Here". In 2007 they announced that they were engaged but their relationship ended in 2011.
In May 2011, Goodrem started dating Nick Jonas but again she failed to maintain her relation with her boyfriend they got split on 2012.
She is supporting the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League. During her life journey, She has won three World Music Awards, ten ARIA Music Awards, an MTV Video Music Award and among several other awards for her brilliant work.
