Daniel Parejo

Inside Biography

Daniel Parejo is a Spanish professional football player who plays as a defender for Spanish club Valencia CF. For the club, he scored a career-best 12 goals and became one of the best goalscorers throughout the competition as a midfielder. Parejo also represented Spain at U-19 UEFA European Championship and helped his team to win the championship by scoring the winning goal in the final match against Greece. He also played for top flighted club Real Madrid and scored 11 goals in 37 matches. 

Daniel Parejo's Early Life And Youth Career 

Daniel Parejo was born on 16 April 1989, in Coslada, Spain to Lorenzo Parejo. His ethnicity is Caucasian and belongs to Spanish nationality.  He was raised in his hometown Coslada along with his sister named Natalia Parejo

Parejo started his early career joining the Real Madrid's youth academy at the young age of 14. 

Daniel Parejo's Professional Career     

Daniel Parejo signed a one-year loan deal with Queens Park Rangers, on  4 August 2008 and made his first appearance for the club five days later, in a 2–1 win over Barnsley at Loftus Road.   

At the end of 2008, Spanish giant Real Madrid recalled him on loan after its first-team midfielders Rubén de la Red and Mahamadou Diarra were injured. He later joined Getafe in 2009 and scored his first goal playing against his former club on 25 March 2010. 

The following year, Parejo joined the Spanish football club Valencia, after he signed a contract for a reported fee of €6 million ($ 7,074,012). He made his debut for the club playing in 80 minutes in a 1–1 away draw match against RCD Mallorca. 

Parejo's phenomenal success came in the 2014-15 season, scoring a career-best 12 goals and became one of the best goalscorers in the competition as a midfielder. As a result, he also surpa s sed Vicent's ten-year-long record to score 10 or more goal for Valencia in a season.

International Career 

Daniel Parejo represented Spain at U-19 UEFA European Championship and played the vital role in winning the championship-scored the winning goal against Greece (1-0). He received his first cap for the senior Spain national football team in the 6–1 friendly defeat over Argentina, on  27 March 2018. 

Daniel Parejo's Net Worth 

Daniel Parejo has collected a large amount of net money through his a s sociation with several renowned football clubs. But the actual amount of net worth is still under review which is believed to be more than $3 million, as per sources. 

Parejo signed a contract with Spanish club Valencia Off for a reported fee of €6 million ($ 7,074,012). His current market value is €20 million ($23,607,300). 

Daniel Parejo's Personal Life 

Daniel Parejo is in a relationship with Isab Otello. Though the various sources have confirmed that they are already married, Parejo has not confirmed the rumors yet. They have a son; born in 2015. 

 

Parejo is also active on social media and usually updates about his upcoming matches. 

In December 2016, a fan uploaded a video of Parejo drinking and holding a shisha pipe in a nightclub on Twitter. Later, Parejo issued an apology after the video went viral. He wrote:

"I regret the release of these images as they are inappropriate and I ask forgiveness of the football club, the fans, the coach and my team-mates. It's not an excuse but this video was recorded during my free time and I had no training the following day."

He further wrote:

"I'd also like to add that I don't know the individual who appears in the video. I am genuinely sorry for what has happened."
