American actress & fashion model, Damaris Lewis is well known for her work on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues. She has also appeared in many films including, Limitless.
Early life and education
Damaris Lewis was born on 10th, October 1990 in Brooklyn, New York. She belongs West Indian-American ethnicity and holds an American nationality. Her parents were West Indian who lived on the St.Kitts-Nevis Island.
During her early years, Lewis had an interest in arts. She went to Fiorella H.LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts to study dance with a arts concentration in a conservatory-style.
Career
Damaris Lewis trained herself in several forms of dance such as modern, ballet, jazz & African from her early age. Her professional dancing career began with the dance company, Restoration Dance Theater at the Chelsea Piers where she performed as a child.
Later, Lewis contracted with Elite Model Management in her second year of high school. Within months, she started working for clients like Benetton, French Vogue, Saks, MAC Cosmetics & Yves St. Lauren.
Lewis’s big break came at the age of eighteen when she featured in the famous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2009. She has also done editorial shoots for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in 2010 and 2011. Additionally, Lewis has worked for Essence (magazine), Trace (magazine), Gala, Pride Magazine London, Uptown magazine, & Vibe Magazine among others.
Lewis appeared in the music video for Kanye West’s single, Monster, in 2010. Later on, the legendary musician Prince chose her as his Muse & Dancer during his Welcome 2 Australia Tour 2012 with The New Power Generation.
Lewis proceeded to tour with Prince and NPG for his 2012 Welcome to Chicago Tour as well. The last she worked with Prince was for his closing show at the SXSW 2013 in Austin Texas. Prince died on April 21, 2016, at the age of 58.

Damaris Lewis is a 27-year-old model with millions of followers and admirers. Her current relationship status, however, is possibly single.There has been no news of her affairs or boyfriends in the media.
Lewis was rumored to be dating late singer Prince once, but their connection was cut short by his death. She was also rumored to be in a relationship with the Canadian actor, Chad Faust.
