Christina Hager is an award-winning reporter who works as a general a s signment reporter for WBZ-TV News. Prior to WBZ-TV, she was working at WTNH-TV, the ABC affiliate in New Haven, Connecticut. Early Life and Career
Christina Hager was born in Bethesda, Maryland and was raised in a ‘news family’; her father is the NBC network correspondent Robert Hager. She went to Colby College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Government. She started her career working as a News Director for WMHB Colby Radio. Along with working at WMHB, she was also studying and she earned her master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

Christina Hager officially started her career as a general a s signment reporter at WGBC-TV in Meridian, Mississippi and after two years relocated to WLBZ-TV in Bangor, Maine as an anchor and reporter. Similarly, she was also a general a s signment reporter in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, Michigan, where, she was able to win the Michigan Emmy Award for Best Doc u mentary in 1996.
