Chad Johnson is in hospital shortly following his arrest for domestic violence and robbery. The  Bachelorette alum, 32, was hospitalized by authorities after police returned to his home on Saturday, February 29, for a welfare check, a spokesperson for LAPD confirmed.

The LAPD spokesperson told media,

The adult male was taken to a local hospital by the fire department and was in stable condition.

His estranged girlfriend, Annalise Mishler, shared a tweet on Saturday morning and hinted that Johnson was being treated following a police welfare check.

She wrote,

If i talk about what’s happening, ppl say i’m trying to get attention, but if i don’t they say I don’t care and i’m a c—t. All i’ll say is as of 10 mins ago, there is no more imminent danger and i can breathe for a second.

A representative for Johnson also confirmed that the television personality has been in the hospital.

TMZ, who was first to report the news, claimed that authorities were concerned that the TV star could be a danger to himself.

Concerns of self-harm sparked after he posted a photo of a rope tied across his door. He later posted a video on his Instagram Stories in which he said, "I have no choice." It’s not been disclosed if he is under a psychiatric hold or not.

As we previously reported, Johnson was arrested after a drunken incident with Mishler. When the police arrived at her house, they saw red marks on her face.
