Bonnie Lynn Bernstein popularly known as Bonnie Bernstein in the media sector is an American Sports Journalist and Executive. She has freelanced for The Dan Patrick Show, ESPN, ESPN and DirecTV. She has also appeared as a guest commentator for several news Networks such as MSNBC, NBC, Fox News Channel, etc. Bonnie Bernstein is named as one of the most accomplished female sportscasters in the history of the American Sportscasters Association.

Bonnie Bernstein was born in the year 1970 August 16 at Brooklyn, NY, USA. She was a salutatorian of her cla s s and was the member of her school’s hall of fame at Howell High School.

She has attended the University of Maryland being graduated in magna c u m laude with a degree in broadcast journalism. She has won the University of Maryland’s Academic All-American in Gymnastics for the four times.

Bonnie Bernstein had started her professional career as a news and sports director at WXJN-FM radio in Lewes. She spent her three years in this broadcasting station. Later, she joined to television as the ABC affiliates weekend news anchor at WMDT-TV and then became the first ever female weekday sports anchor at NBC affiliate KRNV-TV.

In 1995, Bonnie joined ESPN as Chicago Bureau Chief where she covered Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bull’s championship run in 1996-1998. She had even worked as a correspondent in ESPN covering different sports. Later in 1998, she joined at CBS Sports as a sideline reporter.

With the pa s sage of time, she hosted several sports programs and also covered the news of tennis, track and field, horse riding and figure skating besides the NFL and college basketball duties.

In 2006, Bonnie Bernstein returned to CBS from ESPN as a field reporter for Sunday Night Baseball and college football reporter on ABC of ESPN. She has hosted many of the ESPN’s high profile shows. Later from 2009, she began to work as a host in radio broadcasting and freelanced in several other networks.

Bonnie was named as a vice president of Content and Brand Development for Campus Insiders. She was the on-air face of the network and her off-air responsibilities include creating original programming for the network, developing and securing new sponsor partnerships, designing brand extensions.

Besides being a journalist, she has been active in childhood obesity and deep vein thrombosis. She is also a media strategist and national amba s sador for ING KiDS Rock.
