Congratulations are in order for Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell! The conservationist, 21, has got married to her fiance.
The TV star, 21, and the Wakeboarder, 23, on Wednesday, March 25, at Australia Zoo, hours before the country's Prime Minister Scott Morrison enforced a lockdown because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Irwin took to Instagram on Thursday, March 26, to announce her wedding to Powell. Alongside a photo of the bride and groom from their big day, she wrote, "We held a small ceremony and I married my best friend."
Powell, for his part, posted the same photo on his Instagram account to announce the nuptials. He wrote, "We’re finally married! Today, March 25, 2020."
The couple walked down the aisle one day after the Australia government announced that they were going to cut down on social gatherings and allow weddings to limit five people: the bride and groom, a celebrant and witnesses.
Irwin and Powell, who started dating in 2013, announced their engagement in July 2019, on her 21st birthday.
