BBC Breakfast Host Naga Munchetty's Married Life Details-Is She Divorced? Does She Have Children?
Naga Munchetty, the British-Indian television presenter and journalist is quite familiar with us. She keeps coming to our home each morning with her morning show BBC Breakfast.
Although Munchetty appears pretty familiar with us, her personal life might be something that we are still unaware of. The British television presenter has been married to James Haggar since 2007. The couple has been together for almost a decade now, how is their married life going so far? We're discussing Munchetty's married life in detail here.
Naga Munchetty's Married Life With James Hagger
Naga Munchetty and James Hagger are reportedly happy in their marriage. They currently live in their Hertfordshire home and are more than happy together.
In her interview with Mail Online in 2016, Munchetty stated that she moved to the Hertfordshire home with her then-future husband television director James six-year-ago.
In Naga Munchetty's words:
I moved to this house six years ago with my husband James Haggar, a TV director, and if I’m not away working I’ll be curled up on this sofa most nights watching TV and stroking my two Siamese cats, Kinky and Ronnie.
Also, in the same interview, Munchetty mentioned that she knows the recipe for 30 Indian dishes. Looks like the secret to their marriage also includes some spicy dishes.
Despite the interviews, many still suspect that Munchetty and Haggar's married life might not be doing great together as they are never seen together. However, it could be due to their different professions.
Naga Munchetty and James Hagger, as reported, met at a public outing for the first time and eventually fell in love in 2005.
Two years after their first meeting, in 2007, they decided to marry. Although they have been together for so many years now, they don’t share any children together.
The couple currently resides in London, United Kingdom.
Naga Munchetty’s Career Details-Awkward TV Moment In 2016

Later, in 2008, she joined Working Lunch and worked for the program until it was canceled in July 2010.
Munchetty currently works as the director of Naga Munchetty Limited apart from working as a TV presenter on BBC. BBC pays her somewhere between £150,000 and £199,999 in salary.
In 2016, Nega replaced Sian Williams as the presenter of Sunday Morning Live on BBC One, but that was not the only remarkable thing that happened to Munchetty in 2016.
Well, when she was in an interview with Lisa Stansfield, Naga was asked live on air whether she slept with pop star Prince.
Well, did she? The 44-year-old presenter revealed that she was asked to dance with the pop star Prince on her 21st birthday and admitted that it was the “talk of University”.
But shortly after, Naga went completely off-guard when Lisa Stansfield, another pop star who was there at the Morning breakfast show to pay tribute to Prince, asked: “Did you or didn't you”?
But, Charlie Stayt interrupted saying ''that's where we stop the story'' to which horrified Munchetty replied, 'How very dare you.' But, it was all in fun, though still very awkward.
In July 2019, the journalist explicitly commented on Donald Trump's perceived racism tweet while presenting BBC Breakfast with Dan Walker. She accused President Trump of racism after he told his opponents to "go back" to the "places from which they came". In Sep 2019, Naga breached BBC guidelines by criticizing Trump's racist comments.
