Andrew Eppley Shue, popular as Andrew Shue is one of the renowned names in the Hollywood. He is known for portraying the role of Billy Campbell on the television series Melrose Place.

He started his acting career in 1984 with the movie The Karate Kid. He later got his mainstream role in the series Melrose Place from 1992-1999. He has appeared in numerous films and TV series including Gulf City, The Rainmaker and Gracie.

He is also the co-founder of the social networking website CafeMom. Shue additionally serves as a Board of Director of the Do Something.

Andrew Eppley Shue was born on the 20th of February, 1967 in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. His ethnicity is White-American. His star sign is Pisces. He is the son of Anne Brewster and James W. Shue. He has a sister named Elisabeth Shue.

Andrew Shue is from well-established family as he is the son of a banker mother Anne Brewster who later became and the vice president of the Chemical Bank Corporation.

Likewise, his father who was a lawyer as well as a real estate developer; James W. Shue, who also became the president of International Food and Beverage Corporation.

Andrew Shue attended the Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey along with his sister, Elisabeth Shue. Upon high school graduation, he attended Dartmouth College and received the degree of B.A (History) from Dartmouth in 1989.

Acting Career

In May 1992, Andrew Shue cast to play the role of Billy Campbell on the Aaron Spelling soap opera Melrose Place. He featured opposite Courtney Thorne-Smith. He stayed with the show from 1992-99.

In 2007, he made an appearance on the feature film, Graciealong with his sister Elisabeth Shue, Brother John, and his brother-in-law Davis Guggenheim. He also acted in the other two movies named The Rainmaker and American Shaolin. Her last appearance in the film was Gracia in 2009. 

Soccer Career

When he was in Zimbabwe, He played soccer for Bulawayo Highlanders. In that season, his team won the Soccer League and CBZ Cup titles. He also participated and played for the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer.

He was the only white player in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League in 1994. Later that year, he played one game with Los Angeles United of the Continental Indoor Soccer League.

In 1996, he played for the LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer, recording one a s sist in five games. He spent 1997 season on injured reserve.

Entrepreneur

Shue is also an entrepreneur. Andrew Shue has co-founded Do Something along with his friend Michael Sanchez. In 2006, he and his friend Michael Sanchez founded the social networking website CafeMom.

Currently, he works as the co-host of webisode series named Mad Life along with comedian Chuck Nice. The CafeMom is now a family of companies, including blog The Stir, Baby Wizard, and popular Latina site MamasLatinas.

After dating for a year, the pair got married on February 6, 2010, and are still together and happy. She has two daughters from her previous marriage.

Andrew Shue previously dated few girls from the Hollywood. He dated actress Courtney Thorne-Smith for about two years around 1992. After that, he was married for the first time with Jennifer Hageney, who was a floral designer.

The couple married in 1994 and welcomed three children together; Nate (1997), Aidan (1999), and Wyat (2004), before they divorced in 2008.
