After serving more than a decade for CBS Sports, she moved to NBC Sports in the year 2000. She there worked as a reporter on numerous events for NBC like Gymnastics and diving from Athens in 2004, figure skating and short track speed skating from Torino in 2006 and many others.

Former CBS Sportscaster, Andrea Joyce is a married woman. She is married to her boyfriend versatile TV journalist Harry Smith. The couple got married on June 14, 1986. Her husband Harry is also NBC News correspondent. He also hosts the CBS News morning show The Early Show.
The couple’s married on private ceremony among the presence families and friends. Andrea and Harry are the proud parents of two sons. They welcomed their first son in the year 1990. After four years, they became a parent of their second child.
