A.J. Burnett is a popular meteorologist and a weather producer best known for WCVB’s StormTeam 5, an affiliated TV station based in Boston Massachusetts, U.S. Previously he worked as a substitute teacher at Beverly Public School.

In 2005 season, Carl Pavano, a former teammate wanted to test the market instead of taking whatever new contract the Marlins gave him. Burnett who has a 2.11 ERA in 18 starts this season and will pitch in his first All-Star game. Additionally, he lost six consecutive decisions including four losses in the five starts with an ERA in that span of 5.93 during the Marlin’s failed wildcard chase in order to close out the season with a 12-12 record despite a 3.44 ERA.
