Wrecking Crew Bass Guitarist, Joe Osborn Dies At 81

Wrecking Crew ba s sist, Joe Osborn died. The Los Angeles-based guitarist died on Friday, December 14 at 81.

Some sources have reported Osborn died of the natural causes, however, the exact cause of his death is yet to be revealed.

The Ba s s Player Magazine took to their Twitter to express their grief on the death of the famous musician after his death was announced.

Osborn was ubiquitous from the early 1960s to the mid-70s where he played the sublime tunes as Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water.

Born on August 28, 1937, in Louisiana, Osborn played the electric ba s s with a pick that made his ways through on recordings.
