A Wisconsin Father Charged With His Son's Death After He Fatally Punched The 2-Month-Old Child

A Wisconsin man, Kenta Evans, was arrested and charged with first-degree reckless homicide after he punched his 2-month-old baby to death.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by Associated Press, Evans, 21, the Milwaukee native was visiting the infant, Jaquerrion Dancer at his girlfriend Jessica McNeal's home when an altercation broke out.
The complaint further mentioned Evans allegedly arrived at McNeal's house telling he was eager to see the child but later he accused McNeal of having other men in the house. Then Evans snatched McNeal's cellphone and smashed against the wall.
Frightened McNeal then picked up her son and backed away from Evans who allegedly followed her and repeatedly punched her with closed fists.
McNeal's sister later intervened Evans and rushed the child immediately to the nearby hospital where doctors diagnosed him with multiple skull fractures, cerebral hemorrhaging, and retinal hemorrhaging. The infant was pronounced dead later.
Evans fled the scene as the baby boy was taken to the hospital. Police later found him hiding in a closet in his mother's house. Evans later admitted to hitting Jaquerrion and explained that while he was punching McNeal, some of his strikes hit the baby.
Evans' father Kenta Evans Sr. talked to Fox 6 telling he was torn apart to lose his grandson.
