What Form of Cancer Kathy Griffin's Sister, Joyce Was Battling with? Died at 65

Kathy Griffin is devasted by the loss of her sister, Joyce. On Friday, Kathy confirmed the death of her sister via twitter.

She revealed that her sister died of cancer the night before she tweeted. Joyce was 65.

 

"My sister Joyce pa s sed away peacefully last night. Check out this beautiful moment," 

Kathy Griffin wrote alongside posted a video of her sister, Joyce enjoying a musical performance from the hospital bed. She went on encouraging her followers to donate to the American cancer society.

"This is where she always wanted to be... & now she's having a Mai Tai on the beach in heaven," read a message at the end of the video.

In July 2014, Griffin shaved her entire head honoring her cancer-stricken sister. Following the sequence, her brother also died of cancer in 2014.

It is unclear about what form of cancer was Joyce battling with.
