Kevin Tsujihara, the Warner Bros' Chief Executive Officer has stepped down from his job following affair allegations. He had been alleged to have secured roles for an actress he had affair with.

Chief Executive of WarnerMedia, the parent company, John Stankey said that it was "in the best interest" of the company that Mr. Tsujihara stepped down. He further said,

Kevin acknowledges that his mistakes are inconsistent with the company's leadership expectations.

The issue went to the media after the Hollywood Reporter claimed the former CEO helped a girl land role after they had sex. Moreover, the reports also included text messages between Mr. Tsujihara and the actress named Charlotte Kirk.

Meanwhile, Mr. Sujihara's attorney told the CEO didn't have any role in hiring the actress in any movie. Mr. Tsujihara released a statement to his staff on Monday in which he said,

It has become clear that my continued leadership could be a distraction and an obstacle to the company's continued success.

He continued,

The hard work of everyone within our organization is truly admirable, and I won't let media attention on my past detract from all the great work the team is doing.

Mr. Tsujihara worked at Warner Bros for 25 years and had been the head of the network since 2013.
