Tip-Stealing Uber Passenger Identified As Brooklyn Teenage Girl

A graceless girl stealing tips from an Uber driver's tips jar has been identified as an 18-year-old Brooklyn girl who has since made light of her crime on social media.

Gabrielle Canales, the girl who calls herself Gabita on social media was identified on Tuesday after footage of her stealing cash driver Mohammad H. Bhuiyan's tip jar went viral. 

According to Daily Mail, a scantily-clad Canales was captured reaching into his jar and snatching his cash as she got out of his car with two more friends on August 12.

After the footage went viral on social media, Canales shared screenshots of news articles about it on Instagram and Snapchat where she also said; she only took $5 from the box which according to her returned later to the driver.

Before she got into his car, she had posed in her underwear in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, for Instagram which was confirmed after the footage was revealed as the date in the footage and the snap are same.
