Harty Condolence! Timothy Brown, the 'M*A*S*H' actor who played for NFL for 10 years, has died. He was 82.

The Philadelphia Eagles took to Twitter this week to announce his death, stating that he pa s sed away last Saturday, April 4.

The tweet reads, "The Eagles are saddened to learn of the pa s sing of former running back Timmy Brown."

As for his cause of death, Brown pa s sed away after complications from dementia.

Jeffrey Lurie, the Chairman and CEO of Philadelphia Eagles, praised the late athlete on his diverse career, saying,

Timmy Brown was an all-time great Eagle and one of the most dynamic multipurpose players of his era. He overcame many obstacles in his life to enjoy success both as an athlete and as an entertainer.

The Indiana-born actor and sportsperson had appeared in both films and television series. He played the role of Cpl. Judson in the 1970 film "M*A*S*H". He had also portrayed Capt. Olver Harmon "Spearchucker" Jones in the M.A.S.H. television series.
