Tim Hardaway Jr

Tim Hardaway, Jr. is a professional basketball player who was born on the 16th of March, 1992 . He was born in Miami, Florida, United States to his house worker mother Yolanda Adkins Hardaway, and  father Tim Hardaway, who was also a professional player in the NBA. He grew up along with his sister Nia Hardaway. Inspired by his father’s career, Tim Jr. was very keen on playing basketball. From his young days, he trained and played with his father and sister. He studied at the Palmer Trinity School where he was coached by his school’s coach but soon was removed from that school, and transferred to Miami Palmetto High School..Born and raised in a Christian family, he follows the same religion. 

Apart from basketball, Hardaway also played football and was a real fan of the game, which he played  before he earned a place in the basketball squad. Hardaway  was approached by Michigan School, to come and play from their team. After his school was over, he practiced for some time with the Beilein’s Elite Camp, which is in Ann Arbor, Michigan. With the team not in a very good shape, Tim made his debut in the 2010/ 111 season against South Carolina Upstate, and grabbed a much needed victory for the team.

With an average of about 8 points per game and an incredible working rate, he led his team to win against other teams like Syracuse and UTEP. His performances and contribution saw him receiving the Big Ten Freshman award, alongside his team mate Jared Sullingard. With his average of more than 20 points per game, the team won 6 of their last 8 games and made it into the 2010–11 Big Ten Conference men's basketball season. In the semifinals that season against Ohio State team, the team made three-point shots made record of 74. His amazing performances saw his name in the FIBA Under-19 World Championship for his country. Since then, his outstanding career has always been great and in 2013/ 14 season, he made a move to New York Knicks.He signed contract a of $9.3 Million USD with New York Knicks from 2014-2018.

Not much is known regarding his personal life, aside from the fact that he loves dog and has one named Tito. He has a wife, Yolanda, and two children, Tim Jr. and Nia. Hardaway currently lives in Miami, Florida. He was a player/head coach of the Florida Pit Bulls of the ABA in 2006.
