The Supergirl star Melissa Benoist finalizes a divorce with her estrange husband Blake Jenner

Melissa Benoist and Blake Jenner are no more couple, and they are officially divorced now. Benoist and Jenner reached a property settlement agreement, which they did not file with the court, TMZ reported.

Instead, the couple told the judge that they resolved all issues. E! News confirmed that former couple finalized their divorce on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.

The 29-year-old actress filed for divorce from him nearly a year ago citing irreconcilable differences. Since the couple doesn’t have any children together, their divorce finalization process mostly surrounded by property settlements.

Benoist and Jenner, who got married in March 2015 after getting engaged in July 2013. The former couple secretly married in March 2015 and kept it private until July 2015 when Benoist was spotted wearing a silver brand ring on her ring finger during Comic-Con.

The former couple met on the sets of Ryan Murphy’s musical series Glee in 2012. They played the love interest in the Glee.  In 2014, Jenner told People about working with Benoist,

I thought she was the bomb the second I saw her, so it was just super cool to be working together. Thankfully, we’ve had some scenes together. Because if we didn’t, I don’t think we would have had the time to get to know each other.

Jenner also made a guest appearance on two episodes of CW’s series Supergirl in 2016. In March 2016, in an interview with People, she said that: “I love working with him, we only have fun working together. He’s my person to act with. He’s my favorite scene partner, always.”

After few months, she filed for divorce when she was spotted getting cozy with her Supergirl co-star Chris Wood. She’s been dating Wood since early 2017, US Weekly reported.
