Taylor Swift really has a golden heart! The singer-songwriter announced on Thursday, March 5, that she has donated money to help the tornado victims of Nashville, Tennessee.

The ma s sive tornado destroyed hundreds of homes, killing at least 24 people earlier this week.

The songstress, 30, took shared an Instagram Story to share with her fans that she has made a donation to the Nashville Tornado victims.

She wrote,

Nashville is my home and the fact that so many people have lost their homes and so much more in Middle Tennessee is devastating to me. I've made a donation to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund.

A representative for the singer said that Swift donated $1 million to the organization.

Swift later tweeted, "My heart is with everyone in Tennessee who has been affected by the tornados."

This is only the latest charitable act she did in her hometown Nashville but back in 2010, she donated $500,000 by creating a Taylor Swift Charitable Fund after a ma s sive flood in Tennessee and Kentucky killed 26 people.

Additionally, in April 2019, Swift made a donation of $113,000 to the Tennessee Equality Project when it was fighting discriminatory bills in the state.
