WCBS-TV aired in channel 2, is the flagship station of the CBS Television Network based in New York City owned by CBS Television Stations. WCBS-TV’s studios are located within the CBS broadcast centre and transmitted from Empire State Building.  The network was founded in the year 1931 July 21, 83 years ago but started airing since 1941 July 1. It runs with the slogan expect more. The call letters WCBS means W Columbia Broadcasting System. WCBS , WCBS-FM, WFAN. WFAN-FM, WINS, WLNY-TV, WBMP. WWFS are its sister stations. WCBS is also known as WCBS (880 AM), often referred to as WCBS Newsradio 880 is a radio station based in New York City owned by CBS radio.  It runs with the slogan “We are Newsradio”, first aired in 1924 September 20.
