Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken! Withdrawn From Film Festival after Spurlock’s Sexual Misconduct

According to the reports from the salt lake tribune, doc u mentary filmmaker, Morgan Spurlock's faced a criticism in the 2018 Sundance film festival.

It was reported that the filmmaker's latest work has been pulled up from being showcased at the festival. The reason behind such conduct was a confessional Spurlock penned about his past sexual impropriety.

It was Wednesday when Spurlock published a confessional letter where he detailed about his past infidelity with his wives and sexual encounter with his colleague. He was accused of rape and paid a settlement to a former a s sistant of his production house, warrior poets.

Spurlock’s movie,  “Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken!” was set to premiere in the 2018 Sundance film festival was withdrawn by his production company on Friday.

 

Releasing a statement, Spurlock's former production partners, Jeremy Chilnick and Matthew Galkin said:

 Due to Morgan Spurlock stepping down from Warrior Poets, we the partners have decided this is not the appropriate time for ‘Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken!’ to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. Therefore, we will be removing the doc u mentary from the festival’s slate.”

To the worst in the case, Spurlock was also dropped from the production team of the company’s upcoming doc u mentary, The Devil We Know.
