The Summer House alum Wirkus and her husband Brad McAtee gave birth to their first child, a baby boy Dean Hudson McAtee. The happy couple welcomed their first child on Friday, 24th May at Scripps Encinitas Hospital in Calif, People confirmed exclusively.
According to People, the newborn measured 20.5 inches long and weighed 8lbs. 7 oz. at birth. After the baby's arrival, Ashley's twin sister Lauren Wirkus told People the baby was "pure perfection."
On Sunday, the new mom took to her social media to announce the birth of the latest addition of their family, sharing some photos of her with her son from the hospital bed. She wrote: "On Friday the most overwhelming love affair began when we welcomed our baby boy" alongside her post.
The 29-year-old Bravo star announced her pregnancy back in November, sharing photos from their sex-reveal party. Wirkus wrote, "Baby Boy McAtee coming May 2019" in her post.
Wirkus has been updating her fans about her journey with her first child through her post since the announcement, including the baby shower and her nursery reveal.
Ashley Wirkus and Brad McAtee have been married since November 2015 and jetted off to Bora Bora for their honeymoon.
