Based in New south Wales, Steve Liebmann is happily married to Di Liebmann since 1969 and is parents of three children. Steve is best known as a former television anchor, correspondent, and co-host of  Today on the Nine Network.

Steve Liebmann, 73, is officially a married man. Steve first met Di Liebmann in the year 1968. Di Liebmann is the first and present wife of Steve Liebmann.

After dating for a year, Steve and Di Liebmann got married on February 15, 1969. The couple is blessed with two sons and a daughter now.

Steve and his wife have been living together for 49 years. They have been married since 1968.

Steve Liebmann's outstanding career

Steves' broadcasting career began in Cooma on Radio 2XL while attending high school. He presented "Teen Scene" from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm week daily playing the latest recordings.

Additionally, Steve Liebmann moved to Canberra in 1962 and served at 2CA to take up a position with Channel Seven's Sydney bureau as news editor and on-air presenter.

Soon thereafter, he a s sisted as a senior journalist at Radio 2UE. Besides that, he presented an afternoon news and public affairs program on the station which became the top show in its timeslot. Steve eventually became Director of News and Public Affairs at the station.

In 1976, he resigned to work for 2SM. An Australian journalist, Steve has hosted the Willesee program on several occasions and wrote articles for The Bulletin and Men In Vogue.

In the year 1981, he joined the Nine Network as the original co-host of the national Today along with Sue Kellaway.In 1987, Steve joined the Ten Network to present TEN-10 Sydney's Eyewitness News alongside Geraldine Doogue. In 1990, Liebmann rejoined Today and remained at the Nine Network presenting the show across Australia five days a week until January 2005.

Apart from that, he also covered a mild heart attack and health as the reason for his retirement from the show at age 60. He was replaced by National Nine News US Correspondent Karl Stefanovic.

In 2002 and the following years, Liebmann appeared in television advertisements for a counter-terrorism advertising campaign on behalf of the Federal Government. 

Steve hosted Ten Weekend News bulletin in Sydney during 2006. Currently, Steve has hosted Foxtel's Crime Investigation Australia show focusing on infamous Australian crimes. In December of 2009, he replaced Steve Price as Morning Show host on 2UE.
