Stephan Lichtsteiner

Stephan Lichtsteiner is a well-known defender who was born in 16 January ,1984. He was born in Adligenswil,Canton of Lucerne of Switzerland. He currently plays for two teams. His current teams are club Juventus  and the national team of Switzerland. He has earned the nicknames of  Forest Gump and "The Swiss Express" because of his energetic runs down the right wind and athleticism. He has height of 1.83 m and currently weights 75 kg. His current salary is around 1.7 million  Euro.

As a teenager he left home to play for Gra s shopper zurich and his first team debut was made in 2001 in the Swiss football League. Coming season, he started to establish himself as a first team regular and ultimately  helped Zurich to the league title. He played his first national match on November 15, 2006 under Köbi Kuhn vs. Brazil.

He has played 60 national matches where he has  scored  4 goal. In those games he received 12 yellow cards and he  has faced one sending-off. He was a s sociated with different clubs. They are FC Adligenswil, FC Luzern, Gra s shopper Club Zurich, OSC Lille, Juventus Turin. Currently plays for Juventus and looking forward to renew the contract with Juve. Since joining from Lazio in 2011 he has scored two goals while providing 8 a s sists in his 27 serie A appearances for the reigning Italian champions during the 2013-14 campaign. Till now he has achieved various success in his life. Among his achievement some of the   greatest successes are Swiss champion in 2003 with GC, Italian cup winner 2009 with Lazio, Italian champion 2012 and 2013 with Juventus Turin.

As his own father Reto Lichtsteiner was his coach for three seasons it becomes clear that from the very beginning of his career he got support from his family. He is also emotional person who is a major amba s sador for the charity organization. The organization sponsors health programs to prevent AIDS in Africa. He not only travel to places to help those but also played football with children in the villages. This all shows his down to earth character. His spouse is  Manuela, an economist and fitness instructor. They were married in 2010.Kim Noemi Lichtsteiner is their daughter born in 30 January 2011 in Switzerland. A player with consistent and  top-level performance balances his professional and personal life very perfectly.
