American rapper and record producer Soulja Boy has been sentenced to 240 days in jail and 265 days of community service after being found violating the terms of his 2014 gun probation.

The authorities discovered ammunition in his house during a raid of premises in February. The raid took place after a woman reported that she was a s saulted and held hostage in his home which Soulja has denied the allegations. The terms of his probation ban him from possessing guns or any ammunition.

As per the court records, the actor and entrepreneur was arrested on April 15 and has been at Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles. The judge gave him 40 days credit for time served and has been locked up the last 20 days.

It was not immediately revealed what he did to violate his probation. Back in 2014, he was convicted for carrying a loaded weapon in a car which he was a pa s senger.

Soulja’s attorney, Fred G. Mina s sian revealed that his client was very thankful to the judge for sentencing him to only 240 days. He added:

The judge was initially contemplating a sentence of two years.

Previously, in 2011, he was arrested for pot and gun charges.
